POLSON — The annual Flathead Cherry Festival returns to downtown Polson Saturday, July 31, through Sunday, Aug. 1. The two-day event, sponsored by the Polson Business Community and Flathead Lake Growers Inc, will feature family-friendly activities and summertime fun while celebrating the Flathead Cherry industry. While the majority of the festival activities will be in full swing, the cherry pit spitting and a cherry pie eating contest will once again be canceled due to health and safety concerns stemming from the COVID-19 pandemic.
